This year we were thankful to be allowed the use of Bukasa Primary School for the children's club. Teaching and story telling was once again creatively told by Pauline. This was followed by the parachute games, races and rounders. On the last day of the club at Bukasa a barbecue was arranged by Robert, Mike and Brian which was quite a task - try finding somewhere in Uganda to provide 1,000 sausages!!! This was achieved and enjoyed by all even though some of the younger children had never seen a sausage before.

We held another children's club at Kalule where we were made very welcome. Pauline again took centre stage with her creative story telling. This was followed by an unexpected impromptu performance of singing by some of the Kalule children. It was wonderful.

A meeting was held with three Kalule head teachers to discuss their needs for the improvement of school facilities. The ideas exchanged give us the basis of how we may be able to help them in the future.

Andy met with the Prime Minister of the Buganda Kingdom who arranged a site meeting at Bowa to discuss ways and ideas of working together. It was suggested that land could be made available for the development of a Skills Training Centre which all agreed would be a good idea.
